Who is Anthony Jeselnik?

Anthony Jeselnik (born December 22, 1978) is an American stand-up comedian, writer and producer known for dark one-liners, misdirection and an arrogant, amoral stage persona. He is 47. He grew up the oldest of five children in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, outside Pittsburgh, and studied English literature at Tulane University (2001). He started stand-up in Los Angeles in his early 20s and later became a regular at the Comedy Cellar in New York. He wrote for the first season of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, had a Comedy Central Presents half hour in 2009, and released his debut album Shakespeare in 2010. He went from writing the Comedy Central Roasts to performing on them, starting with the 2011 roast of Donald Trump, then Charlie Sheen (2011) and Roseanne Barr (2012). He hosted The Jeselnik Offensive on Comedy Central for two seasons from 2013, released Caligula the same year, and hosted NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2015. Netflix has released three of his specials: Thoughts and Prayers (2015), Fire in the Maternity Ward (2019) and Bones and All (2024).

Anthony Jeselnik tour dates 2026–27: Wrath of Man

The first leg of his Wrath of Man tour is on sale: 26 shows on his official site, 9 in late 2026 from the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans on November 5, and 17 in 2027 ending at The Fillmore Detroit on May 1. His site says more cities are coming. Ticket links are the ones on his site.
